Showing Interactions
When your user makes a selection from a slicer or visual at runtime, other visuals are typically highlighted or cross-filtered in response to that selection. Underlying this behavior is an "interaction" object, connecting the source and target objects and specifying the settings that control the interaction's runtime behavior. You can see which content items are connected by interactions using either the Show Interactions option (to see all interactions in the presentation) or the Interaction Picker (which lets you see interactions to and from selected content items).
You should typically make use of these functionalities if you are investigating or intending to update your interactions using the Interaction Manager or Interaction Picker.

Show Interactions
To show all existing interactions:
- Click Show Interactions from the Presentation or Slide ribbon:
All interactions are shown on all slides in the presentation. Note: You will need to click Show Interactions again if you want to hide the interactions and continue with other editing tasks.

Show interactions for one content item
Instead of showing all interactions (as described above), you can select one content item and show all the interactions to and from it:
From the Toolbox:
- Click Interaction Picker (purple arrow, above).
- Click any content item on the canvas to display its interactions (green arrow).
Your cursor transforms into an interaction selector.
The selected item is highlighted. The interactions both to and from the selected item are shown as single or double-headed arrows.
If you are happy with your interactions, you can click the Interaction Picker again to hide them.

Edit and Delete interactions
With some or all interactions showing, you can right-click the interaction arrow to open its context menu:
- Click Edit Interaction to open the Interaction Manager and edit the interaction.
- Click Delete Interaction to remove the interaction immediately.
Note: If the selected interaction is bi-directional (it is a double-headed arrow), the context menu will include edit and delete options for each of the two interactions. You need to interact with them one at a time.
